A little sweet &
a little sassy



If you know me personally, or have spent more than a day with me, then you know that I first come off as sweet, but when the sun goes down, I can be a little sassy! Truth be told, I can't hide my true personality in my designs, because I put 100 percent of myself in it.

 

I went to school for journalism, knowing (or thinking I knew) since I was little that that's what I wanted to do. During my last semester, I thought, "Well..maybe it's the design aspect I really like." Too little, too late! I finished my journalism degree and got a job copy editing & page designing at a nearby newspaper. 

 

It was pretty evident that I loved design more than anything. An outsider could clearly see it just from the work I did. I became known for the phrase I said almost daily for the front-page design: "I have a vision." And my goal every day was to make that vision into a product.

 

Many have gone to school for years, have learned the product, have learned what makes people buy and why. But when it comes down to it, plain and simple: I love design. Hours can pass by and I have no idea because I'm so focused and "in the zone," as they say. I have "visions" of creations, I have passion that can not be taught.
